Kanye West’s Fox News Interview: Unaired Footage Leaks

Motherboard, a subsidiary of Vice, says it has obtained leaked footage from a recent Fox News interview with Kanye “Y” West that failed to air.

The tech publication alleges it captured footage, much of it risqué and controversial, that Fox News allegedly edited out of the final broadcast with Tucker Carlson. Fox did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There have been no leaks of note recently in the network created by Rupert Murdoch, Joe Moto, an ex O’Reilly factor The producer came under fire in 2012 and 2013 for leaking video of Republican candidate Mitt Romney talking to anchor Sean Hannity. Muto, who was exposed as the anonymous writer behind the Gawker column “Fox Mole,” leaked the video to the blog, which included details about what it was like to work at the network.

Moto later pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges and was sentenced to community service and required to give the $5,000 he received from the column to charity.

Motherboard did not say in the article how West’s alleged footage was obtained.

Motherboard reported that the clip footage allegedly contained several anti-Semitic statements made by West and the statement that he had been vaccinated against COVID-19, as well as several outlandish and confusing claims. According to Motherboard, the segment that aired included conversations about Clinton, former President Obama, the Kardashians and the COVID-19 mandate.

This comes after Meta restricted West’s Instagram account and deleted some of his content due to the rapper’s anti-Semitic statements. After being banned from Instagram, West turned to Twitter over the weekend. The social media company then deleted one of West’s tweets, in which the rapper appeared to make threats against Jewish people. West still has a Twitter account and potential company owner Elon Musk said he had spoken to the rapper about the tweet.
