Sony has added 23 games to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium libraries, including many popular titles from the PS4 and PS5 catalogs.
PlayStation Plus Members of the Extra and Premium tiers get access to 23 games today. PS Plus Extra offers a large catalog of PS4 and PS5 games, while Premium users get to play select PS1, PSP, and PS2 titles, as well as PS3 games via online streaming.
Sony adds new games to the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries in the middle of every month. Members can play these games as long as they are part of the PS Plus lineup, as fans lose access once they leave the service. This works differently than the free monthly games available to all three tiers of users, as players have access to them for as long as their membership lasts. The lineup for October 2022 is now available for PS Plus Extra and Premium members at no extra cost.

Many of the games in October’s PS Plus lineup don’t take up much storage space. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Quite large, as it requires users to download 82.030 GB of data, but games like Grand Theft Auto Vice City And Dragon Quest 11S 11.976 GB and 30.553 GB required respectively. Critics praised. inside Takes up only 3.459 GB of storage, and the file sizes of the rest of the catalog are also quite reasonable.
The overall lineup of additional tiers seems solid, but PS Plus Premium continues to disappoint users interested in playing retro games. Premium is the most expensive tier of the revamped PS Plus and the catalog of classic games is one of its biggest selling points. However, the lineup of PS1, PS2, and PSP titles appears to be lacking as there are only a few games to choose from.
